Watch the video introducing the Firefighting App by Mr. Saavedra (with Fire Chief Dl Webb):

Mr. David Saavedra is a 2018 Congressional App Challenge winner from Clinton High School who has been invited to Washington D.C. May 8-10, 2019 to display his app in the U.S. Capitol Building and be recognized at the House of Code Hill Reception. David’s app is an app that will benefit firefighters across the country by providing critical information to first responders to help reduce response time to a fire. We are trying to raise funds for travel, lodging, and expenses David and his father will incur on this once in a lifetime honor. David received a $125.00 credit for airline tickets. While this is a start, it is not enough to cover his expenses. This young man has created something to help better the lives of all Americans and as such deserves to be recognized for his hard work.
