    One of the region’s most extensive collections of historical artifacts, from Native American archaeology to wartime memorabilia, pioneer life recreations, and detailed documentation of local heritage.

  4. South Fork Nature Center:

    Can you hear the lilting folk rhythms echoing through the forest air? A visit to Riddle Cabin on Greers Ferry Lake will put you in touch with nature lover and music lover roots! The cabin, birthplace of renowned folk musician Almeda Riddle, has been lovingly restored and now rests by the 2-mile forested nature trails, open to the public year-round.

  5. Indian Rock Cave & Cabin:

    Not just a marvel of geology, the beautiful caves near the Indian Hills Country Club & Golf Course in Fairfield Bay hold wondrous surprises inside!

  6. Historic Downtown Clinton

    History around every corner! At its heart, the Courthouse Square hosts the Van Buren County Courthouse (on the state of Arkansas historic registry) surrounded by quaint malls and old buildings. Follow the sidewalks to find all of the beautifully painted Heritage Murals! Visit the Main Street Park & Veteran’s Memorial, and the “Three Rivers Trailhead” historical monument designed by famous sculptor Hank Kamsinsky.

  7. Shirley Train Bridge & Folk Center:

    Shirley was once among the most important railroad hubs in the region. Explore the fascinating history of the railroad, and tour the historical exhibits at the Centennial Museum.
